2009 Mercury OptiMax Pro Xs 250 low voltage

When I get on plane and run the motor for about a mile at WOT a continuous alarm will sound. Have good battery voltage. I can hook the engine up on muffs and wiggle the small plug on the back of the alternator and it’s cause the engine to misfire.
