    TR21 Prop

Running an older TR21 with a 225 SHO Atlas 8” hydraulic plate two 8’ power pole blades. Running it HIGH as high as it goes to 20 on gauge to get it where it needs to be fully loaded. Has to be under 2” prop to pad. Full tank two large men and lots of tackle we hit 6000 rpm’s and 70-71mph fully loaded. Have been turning a Bravo 1 24P for about a year and a half. Slung a blade last Saturday then imploded the lower unit. Dealer says 16 weeks for a Bravo. He did say a power tech that is similar is available. Was thinking about trying a Razor XL. My concern is how high we are having to run this set up and was the blade issue due to the motor height and this will happen again. Suggestions? Thanks fellas!!!

It can happen to any propeller. Especially when running raised motor heights.

Is the Razor XL going to give similar performance to the Bravo 1? We run in a curvy river and this Bravo is amazing in turns and has it on rails.
