The easiest way without using HumminbirdPC is to mark a waypoint anywhere and the edit it with the co-ordinates you have.

Make sure the GPS format that the unit is set to matches the format you have.

There is no way to just enter coordinates to create a waypoint on the Solix that I'm aware of. You have to do what Wayne said... Just create a random waypoint using the "Mark" button and then edit it to alter the coordinates to the coordinates you want.

What form are your waypoints in now? (Written on paper, or in electronic form) different types can be converted. If you have a few to put in by typing can be done but if you have dozens it would be a big job. Bob

Don't have to do any converting if the co-ordinates are one of the three GPS formats, just change the unit setting to match the co-ordinate format and enter the numbers.

Was thinking in terms of GPX-KML-etc. For instance, my contour elite software has about 20 different GPS formats I can load or save waypoints to. Bob

There are only three GPS formats=listed above. There are several other MAP formats for location.

You are correct when talking the coordinate format. I was referring to the format in which different software uses different file formats. Usr,hwr, and many others depending on the brand of the GPS unit. Just trying to find him an easier way if they were from a file. Bob
