Any insight on how shallow Phoenix boats go? Couple guys telling me that they don't go as shallow as most bass boats like going thru pads etc?

Buddies 20 phx, he likes to see 4' to get on pad and has ran through spots that read 1.5 deep while idling
Fish have fins, they swim
1.5 is pretty good then. Not sure what these guys were getting at then but we have quite a few shallow water lakes in Ohio
My 721 floats in 1.5 or less everytime out. I like 3.5 to 4 to get on plane, but not sure if its necessary
If my 45” trolling motor isn’t hitting, the boat will float. 921 elite
Not sure what boats your buddy is talking about. My 921 elite drafts less then my z521. Fish the Miss and I look for 2' to take off, bottom soft mud and vegetation. Have no problem push polling boat through pads and skinny water. Couldn't believe how much easier the 921 is vs the z521
Yah. Not sure what your friend is talking about

Thanks gentleman !
Are you talking about running on pad or draft while fishing? There is a big difference.
Draft on fishing
I need to take a tape measure once, but I feel like since I've upgraded to lithiums I can draft around 12" Maybe it seems way shallower than it is, but I've been very happy with how my boat drafts and I've been in several skeeters, who most will say drafts the least. I don't notice any difference between those 2 brands. Since going to lithiums I can get my boat on plane reading 1.5 with a soft bottom and that's without a hydraulic plate. I'm guessing its actually 2.5ish ft.
I'm not sure how shallow I've gone but 18 inches is best guess.

I’ve had a 721 and 921. They both float in 18” of water if not a little less. Too much hard stuff (wood, rock) to take off in less than 3’ for my comfort but I’m sure either one of them could get up in 2’.
