The trim motor didn’t move even though the Solenoid clicked and it was getting power. I took it off and found lots of corrosion in the brushes and armature. I cleaned everything up and bench tested, jumping it to a battery. It worked so I reinstalled it… however, it’s very noisy (growling) and doesn’t move when trying to service the reservoir. Soooo I think it’s a combination of a corroded armature and possibly stripped inside the pump. I tried ordering a new similar motor on Amazon with no luck. I keep receiving a cylinder body style with only 2 wires instead of 3… The old one has the hexagon style that goes into the pump. Does anyone have any suggestions for me; and can someone explain how the pump works.
