    2005 Champion 188 Elite for 25k

Looking at a one owner 2005 Champion 188 Elite online that says it was bought new in 2007. Has a 200 Yamaha Vmax HPDI, says it only has 145 hours. Comes with hot foot, 101lb. MK Maxxum, two 5" Lowrance, an extra console, single axle trailer.

I will do a search for more info on this model and motor, but if you would like to comment on that I would be happy to read it. Price of 25.5k seems pretty high to me for a 2005 18.5' boat. Even if its in mint condition is it worth that?

Been online for over a month (assuming its still available), so I assume others thought the price was too high as well or it would be gone. The low hours and probably original basic trolling motor and electronics make me think it probably wasn't tournament fished hard, so I like that, but obvious downside is I would be spending thousands of dollars on an Ultrex and upgrading graphs.

Seems high to me, but with today's crazy prices, is the price firm, will seller take offers ?
NADA lists it for 17,000 to 20,000

It is crazy for a 16 year old boat except the same class boat is now 50k plus. I think he would be priced right if it had newer electronics and a ulterior tm on it.

You could spend a hell of alot more on a new and only end up with 1/2 the boat that Champion is. You have to see it to justify a price.

I bought a very low hour garage princess 2007 Champ last year for about $28k, but it was a different model, bigger boat.

I could have bought a brand new boat, but that wasn't what we wanted.

I did still have to upgrade to an Ultrex and graphs. It was allll worth it.

I have a 06 188 Elite.......absolutely love it. As for price, IDK. Paid 20k for it 6 years ago with a 200 merc with 400+ hours.

I would say if the TM doesn't have spot lock, no Power Poles and electronics aren't newer than 2005, I'd say yeah, it's too much money.

Seems pretty steep to me. Sounds more like the price of a 206.
