Unless you fish in big current I could see having the extra but then most will just opt for the 100ah. I'm I missing something?

Ionics are proven beyond proven. See no reason to change that. First with bluetooth and starting. Been awesome to me.

Just wish there was a 75ah for those that believe 50 is just a little low and 100 is too much.

I think for $340 more than the cost of the 60ah Impulse batteries it's worth buying the Ionic 100ah batteries instead. I'd like to go with the 100ah Impulse batteries for the warranty, but that's way more. Still going back and forth between the 60ah Impulse and now the 100ah Ionics ($300 more). The 100ah Impulse batteries are just way too much to even consider for my pocket book.

Ranger has always used Dual Pro pro series chargers. I guess the question is whether your charger will be their newest model with "Autoprofile" which detects a lithium battery and charges accordingly. Their previous pro series will certainly do your AGM

I have 3 50ah Ionics running my Ultrex. They work great under normal conditions. However in the 2 years I have been using them I have killed them to 0% 3 times in heavy current, very strong winds or once when my lower unit went out on my big motor and I had to trolling motor to a ramp. If I were to buy again I would definitely get 100ah. there is no warning when they die. The motor just quits working. Extremely aggravating with an hour or two left in a tournament and the batteries are dead.

I am wondering if you check the SOC on the app occasionally to warn you if they are low?
