    Tesla Rivian pickup

Got to see one up close today at the Savoy Museum. I’m not….and never will be….an EV fan but this is a nice vehicle with tons of features. 300 mile range. Base price listed at mid $60k.

There are a lot of folks who think Rivian is a Tesla product.

I work for a Conveyor Company, And we did the General Assembly for Rivian
Spent over 2 years on the job with 14 months onsite at 7 days a week
It's a nice truck, I'm impressed for a startup it has allot of cool things
They stuggled starting up and had to learn how to be a Automotive company
Hell, Breakfast and lunch was free until they started production

But I've not a fan of the EV's
They have a way to go on the Battery or Fuel cell

I saw a Rivian PU towing an old Fiero on a car trailer in Troy AL on my way to PCB Florida today. That’s the second I’ve seen of late. I spotted another in Clarksville a week or so ago. They look like a mid sized pickup.

My wife and I will have to break our “nothing over 50K except the house” rule on our next vehicle or just buy used the rest of our days. When we bought in 2018 I could have got a real nice truck for 50K. It’s hard to fathom how much pickups have gone up since then.

Depends on what you’re towing but towing a bass boat will likely get much more range than that.

Rivian is the brand, the truck model is the R1T. You saw the R1T badge on the back bottom left (It's a small R and 1 above a large T) :)

I bet a Rivian will tow my aluminum boat a good distance. I get about 225 miles in my ICE before it needs a fill up.
