    Tips for Wilson

    Hey guys,

I am down here fishing at Pickwick but plan to jump over to Wilson with all of the HS boats coming out on Wednesday.

Does anyone have any advice for Wilson? I have fished the shallow area just north of Town Creek before but have only been on Wilson once. I’m aware the Wilson is completely different than the other Tennessee River Lakes.

    Thanks for any help.

Current will probably be your only hope except daylight and looking at TVA App it doesn't look like there will be much.
I would focus on the river channel ledges and hope I could talk a school into firing without the current.

We fished main lake ledges and points yesterday with crankbaits that run about 10-12 foot. We also fished some points in Shoal Creek. We caught 15 in about 4 hours but the biggest was only about 2 1/2 pounds.

Hopefully the buzzards are not doing damage to vehicles at the Fleet Harbor launch.
