Helix gen 4 and mega 360 help

Fished 8 hrs 2 weeks ago everything work fine except the little interference I get from my fortrex. This past Sunday first thing in am the helix could find the 360. So I hit forget 360 an ran with mdi transducer. Towards the end of the day.went back to look for the 360 transducer and its not even a option for a transducer on the helix. Any help would be great.
    Thanks.

I have had my Helix not find the 360 before. The only way I have found to fix it is cutting power to the entire system through a master cut off and starting everything back up. Try this before looking for a connection issue. Reset defaults did nothing but raise my blood pressure.

I reset defaults. Did nothing. Turned the master power switch off by the battery. Restarted everything nothing. I have power up to the fuse block I ran to the front for the 360 and any thing I add. Nothing. It's so frustrating

If you have an ethernet box did you shut the power off to that also? Yes, it is frustrating when these expense toys don't work as advertised. Been there.

Also believe the manual says to start the unit with the 360 first, if you have multiple units, but mine has worked either way.

The other thing is I believe you'll have to select the 360 and DI, if a DI unit, in your transducer settings after you did the reset. 360 may be the factory setting, so maybe not necessary.

I don't have a ethernet box. I have the gen 4 and a gen 2 helix. And a cable to link the 2. Gen 4 is for the 360. It's not even a option to pick the 360 transducer

When you select Forget MEGA 360, it does.
To get it back Restore Defaults, then with the unit OFF, turn on the power to the MEGA 360 and then start the unit up.
It detects the MEGA 360 at start-up and changes all the Connected Transducer settings to just ones involving the MEGA 360.
MEGA 360 alone is the Default setting, no DI or 2D.
If you have another transducer connected WITH the MEGA 360 via MEGA 360 Y cable, you have to change the Connected Transducer setting to match the combo of transducers.

I did as followed and the mega 360 is not on the connected list. I shut the main power off to 360. Turned the helix on reset factory settings. Power helix off. Turned main power switch for 360 on. Then the helix. Still not finding it.

Is Mega 360 pinging set to "on" under the power button? Did you place a wet rag across the the 360 wet switch (2 silver dots), if so, does the M360 radiate (rotate)? Good luck.

Have you checked for power at the power cable for the 360?

Is the round part on the mega 360 power cord some sort of fuse?
