    Mercury Lifting Ring

Hey guys I have just ordered trim wedges to put on my boat. I have the lifting ring for a 2 stroke but wasn't sure if it would work on the new 4 stroke or if I had to buy a different one. Thanks for your guys help on this.

    I don't believe it will.
However, there are lifting points bolted on each side of the V8. Easy to make a harness from chain or heavy strap.

If you would, please take a moment to review the Announcements at the top of the Forum, and be sure to provide the Required Info (serial number) when posting. Thanks!

Correct lifting device depends on WHICH Fourstroke you have. Do not attempt to utilize the 2-stroke version with current Fourstroke products.

Note: Transom Wedges are not recommended (specifically) per service bulletin.
