Thumbs Up Motorguide X5 Broken Steering Cable-Help Needed

    Hello everyone,

My motorguide x5 popped/snapped a steering cable by the "toe" side of the foot pedal where it attached to the pedal. I tried reassembling but the cable is simply too far gone.

Anyway, I need help finding out which cable(s) I need and how to replace them.

    Your help would be appreciated!

    Thanks!

There is a kit with a set of cables. 8M0122083 is the part number. Take pictures so you remember how to connect when replaced.

I’m pretty sure there is a long set and short set. Make sure you order the right size.

You right there is. did not think of that thanks for the heads up.
XL set is 8M0122084. Serial number will tell which none you have.

Well turns out I needed the 8M0122084 cables.

Glad there is clear documentation on what I need for my serial number...

Down another week I guess while I wait on parts, unless a bbcboards sponsor has them in stock and can ship ASAP
