    RT188P Speed

I have a new to me 2021 RT188P I’m running a 23P three blade fury the motor is hanging on Atlas jack plate with dual power poles. According to the mercury VesselView I’m turning 6140 at wot running 51 mph. How does that sound to comparable setups ? Has anyone seen any faster with a different prop ?

I have a 2022 188p with a 6” Bob’s hydraulic, a single blade and have only seen 51 downstream on the Mississippi spinning a 24 Tempest at 5800-5900 (per VesselView). You’re setup sounds great.

I also meant to add that’s two people full of fuel and livewell full.

Don't touch the setup you have. That is as good as I have seen reported out of a RT188. The fact you can turn a 23 Fury at 6100 RPMs with two people, full gas, and livewell, I assume normal tackle for two, with a 115 is amazing.

Agree with n2ratfishin. My 2022 188P with a 23P Tempest, 4" manual jack plate, no PP, 1/2 tank of gas, and 1 person hit 51 mph (GPS) at 6300 RPMs. I'm still working on my 23P Trophy (4-blade) to see what it can do.
