2021 Z19 Winch Stand sliding forward

My winch stand has slid forward a good 4 inches. I checked the u-clamps and they were not as tight as they could be. Next time out I plan to put it back where it goes and tighten the u-clamps good and tight. This has probably happened from power loading, though I try to do it gently, and possibly from a hard stop on the road. I was thinking of getting an additional u-clamp and fastening it right in front of the mount. Anyone else experience this? Any suggestions for keeping it in place?

    thanks

I had to tighten mine after the first year of ownership, it only slid forward maybe an inch. Hasn’t moved since then.

Mine moved a bit too. I don't think the U- bolts were adequately torqued from the factory.

I had to tighten pretty much every screw/bolt on my 2022 Nitro, including the winch stand.

I had a squeaky fender every time I stepped on it when I first got the boat. I inspected it and found a missing bolt, I placed a jack under the fender and installed a new bolt. This made me inspect the trailer from tongue to rear and give every bolt a little more torque to them.

I agree with Bryan to check every 6 months.
