100 hr oil change and service

    1C676033 50EFI new Jan2022
I did first oil change at 19 hours with 10w-30 synthetic blend, coming up to 100 hour service. will be getting the service kit with filters, gaskets and thermostat. but which weight oil is best for summer usage? I'm in Newport News, VA. . online see mostly 25w-40 mostly advertised in kits.

10-30 is all you need. You can buy each item seperately rather than a kit. 100 hour change does not require a thermostat change.

You can use either oil (10w30 OR 25w40), recommend a Synthetic Blend. If you'll be operating the engine much during the colder months (ie: below 30 degrees F), I would stick with the 10w30.

Thermostat replacement "should" be at 3 Years or 300 Hours (though inspection or testing is recommended ANNUALLY).
