    Lowrance LMS-480M

I have an older Lowrance, model LMS-480M

it has worked fine for years, But lately it has been losing bottom depth,

I do fish shallow a lot, and I know it will lose depth then, but when I go deeper it usually finds bottom, but it doesn't find bottom as quick as it use to.

I'm not talking about going fast, I'm taking a slow speeds.

    thanks for any info

Transducer is wore out they start dieing the day they go online and if its over 10yr old then most likely that is the issue. Electronics do not last forever the 480 is 20 yrs old or close to that.

Very common I went though a few transducers on my old X-85 .
    Especially the puck style transducer.
