Wiring to accessory switch

I was having trouble running All my electronics and gls box off of the factory installed fuse block in the rod locker. So I ran a set of 8 ga wires direct to battery and plan to put another fuse block in the rod locker to hook my gls box to. I know this box is supposed to be on a switch. Has anyone used the accessory switch on the panel (which appears to me to be unused) for something like this? Any other recommendations on switch or breaker I should use instead?

I'd just run a breaker by the box, and not use the acc switch unless you run it through a relay like the factory wiring.

yep if you use the switch you need a 30amp relay
