    Tx 190 prop helpp

    I have a 2105 tx 190 with a 115hp 2 stroke merc pro xs,4 inch jackplate,2 3/4 prop to pad, rubex 13 x 19 ss 4 blade,currently running 50 mph at 5200 rpm wot, that's my max,a guy has a laser2 13 1/4 x 20 worked prop he says the prop would turn me at 57mph? Any thoughts

    Something is off with the numbers. With the 2.07 gear ratio and the numbers you provided it comes back at -11 slip which is impossible. If I change the rpm from 5200 to 6200 the slip calculator comes back at 7% which is more realistic. You may be spinning the right rpm but the tach could be off. Before you start chasing top end verify the tach is working and the throttle is actually allowing wide open.

    I matched the rpm on the gauge with my vessel view and they were the same numbers

    Bigger diameter and higher pitch will drop rpms
