    Laser prop

    I have a 2015 tracker tx 190 with a 115 2 stroke proxs 115hp I'm currently running a rubex 13 x19 4 blade and getting 50mph at 5200wot,I'm looking to buy a laser2 prop that is a 20p 3 blade that has been worked,but not sure if this will pick up anymore speed,can I get some thoughts?

    You definitely have room for more rpm’s but your top speed seems awfully decent. Laser II’s are popular, maybe you can find a friend with one to borrow.

    Generally when you go up in pitch, You lose hole shot and pickup speed. My concern would be that your already at the lower end of your power band (assuming that your Merc 115 has a 6000rpm Top of range) and it's not going to help. You've got pretty much what I would expect with that boat/engine combination. My advice would be to go the opposite way and improve your hole shot and get your RPM's back up in the 5700-6000 rpm range.

    I have a 19" Spitfire and a 20" Laser and greatly prefer the 4 blade. I run at hole #3 and get 5500. The Opti 115 has a 5750 top end.
