    Hard Water Spots

What is the best cleaner to get rid of hard water spots on Mercury 250 Pro xs 4 stroke motor. I just spent $18 on Boat Bling Hot Sauce hard spot remover and it was a joke, didn't clean or move any. Thanks in advance.

Get the boat wet then use your hot sauce... works flawlessly for me

I use Comet bathroom cleaner with 6 percent citric acid. Wash the area and then spray on and rewash area. Been working for me for years.

Lime-A-Way, with the motor dry spray it on and watch it dissolve the hard water buildup. Let it sit for a minute then wipe with a wet sponge and rinse off. Been using it for hard water stains for as long as I can remember.

I use regular toilet bowl cleaner on the hard water that looks chalky on the mid part of the motor. Wipe it on with a sponge, let it sit a few minutes and wipe it off, then rinse.

I just used the Chemical Guys hardwater spot remover on the door jams in my black truck. It worked amazingly! And the bottle will last me a lifetime given how little gel I used for the truck.

Straight white vinegar from a spray water bottle. Let soak a couple of minutes. If it's really bad apply a second time and wipe with a wet sponge and rinse.

Vinegar / distilled water mix. Mix it hot. Like 60% vinegar spray on let sit. Wipe off. If it's really bad soak a rag in it and let it sit over the spots for a bit

Wonderfoam and a sponge. Don’t let it dry before you rinse it though.

I put this new 303 Graphene product on my boat about a month ago. All I can say is unbelievable! Noticed the last tournament I fished everyone’s boat had a bad scum line from the water and there wasn’t hardly anything on mine. What little bit there was whipped right off. Since I put it on the gel on my boat pops like crazy in the sun. Seems to be preventing water spots and is supposed to last for a year.
