    Cheap boat cover

Have a 2017 Ranger 521. Need a cheap thin light cover to keep dust and stuff off boat in garage….garage used a lot. My Ranger too heavy bulky. Any ideas for sone thing cheap light? Again it’s for inside use and parked….do not want waterproof etc

Ranger dealers sometimes have travel/shipping covers that they will sell. I bought one several years ago for $100, and actually very nice material.

Try Bass Pro or Cabelas for a dust cover. I bought one there years ago. They claim you can trailer with it, but I wouldn’t. Should be less than $150.

Check directly with Ranger. I recall reading something on this site that indicated Ranger offers a lightweight dust cover.

At a car show one day and found these super light white generic dust covers with elastic edges. They work great for dust covers on my boat in the garage.

Check Empire boat Covers for a cheap cover. I got one to use as a dust cover for my boat for about $125.00-$130.00.

I just purchased a new travel cover from Ranger for my z521. Cost was appx $1300 with shipping. Had it in about 3 weeks. Call them with your boats s/n and they can make a new one to match your boat.

Nice of you to report, Barry, but the standard towing cover is exactly what the OP has now. He wants a light-duty, inexpensive dust cover only.

I got the shipping cover when I purchased my Z520. It is lightweight and can act as a dust cover in the garage but, it's almost as much work (minus the straps, ratchets, etc.) to put it in on as the factory travel cover. If I could find a car cover like this it would serve the purpose and I'm sure, be a lot easier to put on and take off.
