Lake Champlain

Will be there starting Saturday for a week. Stay in North Hero for the week. Will have my 3 grandkids with me. Never been up on early summer. Have visited same area in September last 2 years. Largemouth, smallmouth and pike will be targets. Fish same areas as fall? Venture open shoals? Looking for general starting point. Thanks for any info inadvance.

Smallmouth should be on beds largemouth some on some off the beds

Tough time of year to fun fish on that end of the lake

I'm heading up this Saturday and have never been this time of year (most of my waypoints are for August). How have you been doing up there?

Sorry can't give much info. Catching both largemouth and smallmouth when we can get out. Lots of rain this week. Terrible high winds. Into second day without getting out at all. Only light wind day was Monday. Looks good tomorrow. Leaving Sat.
