Lowrance setup advice

Hi all

Owned my units for afew years now.
2x HDS Live
1x 12
1x 16
1x Point one sensor
Ghost t motor
1x Active target

Everything connected by nmea network and ethernet

What I need is setup help with settings within the units

Im having trouble with when I make a setting change on 1 unit the other does the opposite? So if I turn my contour lines off on mapping on one unit the other does the opposite?

I noticed I have source set to "multi" ? Also everything is set to "local"

Also not sure how to set the "Point 1" for the best settings to make my heading and waypoints the most accurate?

no expert but what i understand point one should be on boat surface closest to the transducer you are looking for most accurate location.should be in a non magnetic area, take a boy scout compass and make sure it doesnt deviate.

if you hav only one transducer, then you have only one source.
however most people have more than one,like a 2d for running so you probably want to choose that one for console unit.

not sure about contour lines someone with higher pay scale might have to answer that one for me too.
