Lowarnce Elite FS 7 installing Mercury vessel view from home screen via Bluetooth
Got the vessel view hooked up to the 115 Pro XS OB. Power up the Elite FS7 & the vessel view. The option for Bluetooth is turned on. I select the name for the vessel view in the Bluetooth option. It says connected. But when you return to the home screen the Mercury icon isn't there like it's supposed to be. According to Lowrance it doesn't need the Nema 2000 network to interface. They said to go to systems & scroll down the menu options & select Mercury & it should interface. Welp to no surprise it's not listed & the Mercury icon doesn't pop up on the home screen. Has anyone else had success with installing vessel view on their Elite FS units?

VV Mobile (as the name suggests) only works with mobile devices like your smartphone and tablet.
VV Link works with your unit, and requires a NMEA2000-network to be set up.
It sounds like your have VV Mobile, and this can not be networked with your Elite FS (or any other marine unit).

You have to download the Vessel View app from either Apple or Google to your cellphone. Works great.

Roger that. Explains why the phone app works but not the FS 7. According to Lowrance Tech. support I didn't need the Nema 2000 network that it should sync up via wireless Blue Tooth. Makes sense why it doesn't cause it's the mobile version & no the link. Thanks for the replies & clarification. Appreciate it. Tite lines.
