I have 1997 186 with a Johnson 175 fast strike & what I believe sea star power steering.
just noticed it’s leaking fluid right where the piston goes in. It’s not lot but noticeable.
is this just seal repair & something I can handle myself?

Yep you can do it not that hard of a job, you will need to refill and bleed the system after you replace the caps.
Are the seals fairly standard? Good place to order? & thank you :)
