    Anyone around the Wake Forest North Raleigh Area that repairs malfunctioning reels?

    Anyone repair malfunctioning reels at a good price? Looking at 100 dollar reels, if labor costs more than that I might as well buy a new one.. Let me know!

    If Tommy Wilson(Bassman13 reel service) is still doing repairs I would look him up. He has serviced a lot of my reels over the years. I will be reaching out to him soon to see if he is available as well.

    I had some reels supertuned by Tommy a couple months ago and he said he wasn't doing repairs anymore due to cost of parts and slow parts turn around time. It may have changed though so might want to check with him.

    so, have you just tried to take them apart, give them a good cleaning and then reassemble. That often fixes it. If something appears broken, there are place to order new parts.

    what reels are they?

    Where did you get your reel repaired at.
    I was cleaning up and find 4 Ardent reels.
