    Fantastic fishing in So Utah

This board has been a little slow recently. I imagine fishing hot every were right now.

I fish Sand Hollow a few times a week year round. Being a So Cal transplant these lakes remind me a lot of DVL and fish the same way.
This years spawn was good. I don’t target bed fish but at this lake beds can be in 20 ft with clear water. This fish was a post spawn female that came out of 25 ft on a bush. 1/4 oz little spotty with a chigger craw trailer made it happen. I had several over 3 lbs and then this kicker at 5.77. 3ECDC105-E8DF-47F5-9837-CA1AF6E95D8D.jpegAAA2EC04-67F7-4442-A991-A4406BC1EF2A.jpeg

Spent a little time in Springdale, Hurricane and St George. Very pretty country. Satellite view of Sand Hollow looks very inviting!

Fishing has finally picked up here in the PNW, still unseasonably cold and I think the majority of fish are still on beds. Club tournament at Whatcom on Saturday, full limits for the whole field with the majority having 13-17 pound bags, with most guys having to cull a bunch and great numbers between 2.5-3.5 pound smallies.

Curious what how the California guys are doing and what which lakes we are going to be able to launch on come late summertime.

Not LMBs or SMBs but a ton of fun. This lake is an offline reservoir, water is pumped in, held, and pumped to the bay area or LA as needed. Plenty water now but it'll get way down. There are 3 ramps that allow launching even when it's at its lowest.IMG_20220609_175243.jpgPXL_20220609_221944504.jpgPXL_20220609_193810957.jpg
