    2005 TR20X question

I bought my boat new in 2005. I have a new 225 4 stroke Mercury coming in to to replace the 225 opti. I have the original 6" manual plate with 2" in spacers. I want to know if a 10" Bobs hydraulic plate is too much set back for this specific hull. Or should I just get an 8" hydraulic. Thanks for any input..

    My 05 21x lost 3 mph going from a 6 to a 10. Sold it, bought a new 6 inch Bob's action and the 3 mph came back. I'd get the 8
