    2002 250 OX66 - Rebuilt Trim - NOW Slowly Trims down as I am on Pad

    I just recently had my trim rebuilt (new seal kit and new caps). Took the boat out yesterday and noticed that my engine was slowly trimming down on its own while I was on pad.

    What can cause this?

    Is this an issue that needs to be looked at before going back out?

    Emergency bypass screw not tight. CJ

    While engine is full up check reservoir oil level. I had a Merc years ago and low oil level would let it slowly push down the trim angle. CJ1 good advice also. Good luck.
