I still favor car tires, I sell tires, trailer tires for a boat are really over rated

I use radial trailer tires, probably from China. I see some 10 ply bias ply trailer tires that are inexpensive. I'll need some new ones soon, anybody REALLY know why I should pay for radials rather than bias ply?

I agree. Installing tires on a boat is only helpful for floatation. I will keep my trailer tires on my trailer.

Just put 4 endurance on my trailer. They were more expensive than the house brand but piece of mind goes a long way.

Single axle, I would definitely go with a D rated tire, for both load and speed ratings.

My choice would be the Goodyear Endurance tire.

Weigh the rig and fill the tires accordingly.

    Good Luck

I've been happy with the Carlisle Trail HD that came with my trailer.

ha ha, I run many many miles, automotive tires have far outlasted trailer tires on a boat, in my case I run a 205 70 14. I have ran both, auto tires look much better, ride better and last longer. But hey, whatever
