Couple’s tournament last Sunday

2 couples teams-13 teams-Scramble on front 9 and Best net ball on the back 9.
We took second for $300. Wife putted well, I hit some great iron shots and putts, our guests hit some excellent shots as well. We surprised some folks and had a great time on the course after the rain cleared an hour before our shotgun start.
Great way to spend a Sunday afternoon.
Got 8 rounds on the books in may. That is 7 more than each of the preceding months. Results are starting to show progress.

My wife and I used to play in a lot of weekend couples tourneys. I thought they were a blast, My wife thought I was too serious. Best weekend we came in second overall which was a couple hundred bucks, but they also had a skins game where we won $1300. I miss those days! As I seldom play now and my wife has payed once in the last 6 years.
