What would cause a loss of power? My motor is losing rpm’s around 3500; max rpm’s reached this weekend was 3800 at 41 mph with a Standard Yahama SS 24P, but not without hearing it fluctuate the rpm’s. Boat is structurally sound. No extra weight anything. I’ve replaced all gas lines n plugs and fuel pump, but it still sounds like there might be a gas line leak somewhere. Before reaching 3500, the motor is strong with no fluctuating rpm’s. Hole shot is good, but top end is not. Help!

After checking n rechecking the fuel lines, I noticed one of the intake gaskets to the bottom carburetor was severed and had lots of gunk around the area. I cleaned it off and waiting for the gasket replacements. Surely, this is my culprit. I’ll report back once tested on the water!
