    40 hp big tiller kit

    I bought a boat last year that has a tiller motor on it. It is a Mercury 40 hp mod 1f40411gz with ser 1c597981
    i would like to upgrade it to the “big tiller” version. It looks to me like the upgrade kit has been discontinued. Any ideas where I could get a kit, no luck on <EDIT- ANNOUNCEMENTS>

    Best course of action would be to visit a local Mercury dealer and inquire. Pros here are very busy this time of year so a reply might be slow.

    Big tiller kit has indeed been discontinued for this engine model.
