I picked up a Micro 9 with Crimson Trace grips a few years ago on sale for a pretty good price. The only issue was the first couple hundred rounds it was prone to misfeeds or the slide not returning to full battery at the rate of 1 round per 5 clips shot. After I got the recommended 500 rounds through it and it has been flawless since. Reminds me I need to take it to the range again for some practice.

    You mean magazines? LOL
Did you clean it prior to shooting it? The stuff they put on weapons is not a lube, it's a rust inhibitor. I have seen people ruin weapons from not cleaning prior to shooting them because of no lube.

How do most prefer to conceal carry? And what would be a good concealed carry that’s maybe a step up from what I currently have? Tucked in waist of shorts, belt holster with shirt pulled over, or in pocket? I’ve got a LCP 380 with a pocket holster but thinking about something a little bigger frame and then it probably wouldn’t fit in pocket.

Do you preferred striker fired the guns or hammer fired guns? Also where would you like to carry i.e. appendix, middle of back, 3 o’clock, etc.

Striker and on side preferably. Was thinking about maybe a Hellcat or a Sig P365.

You would be well served with either choice. I narrowed it down to those two and chose the Hellcat OSP from Sportmans Outdoors. They had may still have a bundle package with the pistol, 3 mags, 11+13+ and 15+ with a Veridian E Series red laser, and holster.
I think it was $569.99 but with shipping, taxes, etc. I think the whole kit was $615.

Good choices…if I carry a smaller gun it’s a Glock 43x with a Shield Arms 15 round mag. In most cases I prefer to carry a bigger gun. CZ P07, HK VP9, HK P30SK….Occasionally others.

    I have Kimber 1911, .45 ACP

most reliable pistol i have ever owned
    super accurate

i purposely shot 600 round through it before I cleaned it
    never malfunctionef

i carried it on 4 wheeler down dust roads, mudhes
    never jammed

for a personal carry I don’t recommend because of the weight

I love my micro 9 but it doesn't love cheap ammo...it'll jam in a minute...beats anything I've ever seen...you put range rounds in it and it'll give you fits all day...if you put decent mid to high lively stuff in it and I never have an issue...

You have to clean a stainless weapon to prevent the slide and frame galling which causes problems down the line. If you didn't clean yours, did you lube it prior to shooting?
