Question Anyone use or have a Lyman Mag 20 melting pot?

I just picked up a Lyman Mag 20 that appears to be pretty much brand new. I got it assembled and melted some lead. One issue I'm having is the lead cooling in the spout. the only way i can get it to come out is if i heat the nipple. I have it set on 10 also. It did a few minutes for it to melt in the pot. Anyone have any ideas or tips? Thanks

Like above, that portion takes the longest to heat up.

That was my thought when I read this this morning. It takes my RCBS pot close to 30 minutes to melt my lead alloys even set at 800°.

Ok I done research and I guess this happens to some mag 20. Spout freeze. Several people mentioned adjusting the center screw on your thermostat. I’m gonna make an attempt so what happens
