    Wow. If only you had been the first reply I would’ve figured this out much sooner.
    In 30 years of fishing I had never left a fish in. I’ve had this boat for 18 months and had the cull thing and now this. I’d say a deep, dark livewell on a sunny day would make a regrettable accident more likely hmm? It’s kind of like you telling someone who fell down stairs to be more responsible when a handrail or better grip on the floor may help prevent it. At least a few others offered actual solutions. Anyways like I said above I felt terrible about it. And have installed some white bath mats. And will in addition “be more responsible”.
