Anyone remember a lure called a " Cook Devil "

Bass Pro shops sold these in the late 70's and it was a molded plastic (polypropylene ? ) floating weedless spoon with double hooks that used rubber bands for weed guards.
    Might have originated in Florida

It was kind of heart shaped with a vinyl skirt on each of the 2 molded in hooks hanging out of the back . It fished kind of like a hollow bodied frog but had a bad habit of landing upside down at times but luckily he rubber band weed guards kept it from snagging weeds when that happened .

OK found some more info for the Cook Devil from a video a guy posted showing the pages of a 1976 BPS catalog . Maker was "Action Lures" out of Jackson Mississippi who also made a worm called the "Breathing worm" that is said to be the inspiration for Greg Stump's Zipper worm . Got a screen shot of the catalog page showing the bait .
