Just bought a Carbon that came with an AI 3in1 transducer. Currently running a LSS-1 to a Gen3 unit with separate thru-hull 2D.
Is there any reason to leave the LSS-1 mounted to the transom or should I remove and replace with the AI?
Is there any reason to have both and if so how is that configured?

The LSS-1 is a great transducer, especially at 800 mHz frequency. I would consider keeping it and mounting it on your trolling motor, (assuming your have a Lowrance unit for the bow to plug it in) and adding the 3in1 at the transom for your console unit.
