    Mercury optimax

    6590CF0A-B4CE-4DB6-A352-3C55C33B584E.jpeg Good morning. On my 2006 Mercury optimax DFI serial# 1B273623 I noticed that water is coming out of 2 holes. One on each side of the motor. I just changed the impeller and the housing. I just want to make sure it’s normal for water to be coming out from there. I haven’t had it on the muffs very often but I’ve never noticed it before. I’m also new to this picture thing so I’m not sure how to circle where I’m talking about. Sorry

    Perfectly normal. You just don't watch them when the boat is in the water.
