A fresh pair of shorts is a lot cheaper.
Frogg Toggs. Cheap, lightweight, compressible and surprisingly they work
I searched rain pants for golfers. Much better selection and I ended up choosing some Ben Hogan pants that were on sale.
Edit: I just checked and they are Water Hagen rain pants. The only drawback I found is they are elastic waist. There isn't a belt or drawstring. I ended buying suspenders to keep them pulled up.

I’ve had a set in the boat for years. Lightweight, keeps you dry, and easy to store.

I got these Frogg Toggs Toadz bibs a few years ago. They are light weight, full leg zippers pretty easy to get on and off quick. I think I caught them on sale for $39

Frogg Toggs. Been using them since I bought my first Ranger in 2005. Easy on and off on steamy days when you don't need them after a downpour till the next one arrives.

I don’t have a rain suit that’s marketed towards fisherman. I usually buy back country gear as they tend to be more durable, last longer, lighter, and more waterproof.
