    Fortrex to Ghost ?

2014 Z521c. Thinking about changing out Fortrex for Lowrance Ghost. Do the holes for ghost mount match those of the Fortrex? I have searched and can’t find a definitive answer. Thanks.

The holes are exactly the same. Have done it on two boats. Bought a Ghost to replace mine on my Z520, and then moved it to my Z521 when I traded. Both had Minkotas previously.

One of holes on mine did not match up. I dont know why but it didn't. They are supposed to. My fortrex was one of the originals.

Mine all lined up and made it very easy to switch.
The Ghost is a beast. Good luck

Does the foot pedal fit in the tray as well?

Fits in my Z519, and I haven’t heard of anyone with a Z boat having pedal fit issues.

Mounting holes all lined up from Fortrex to Ghost. Had to use one of the supplied spacers on the front outside location to prevent twist and level the Ghost for proper opening/closing.

Foot pedal fit in tray nicely. Drilled an additional hole into the bow rigging area for wiring of the transducer, NMEA and TMC cables. Very smooth and very clean.
