I would go with a Vance jack plate . Very good quality at a great price.

It kind of looks okay, but realize that if you got ahold of one that was really poorly made, you could DIE from a failure.
Hate to rain on peoples parade, but I wouldn't put that thing on my boat. I just wouldn't cheap out and go with some obscure jack plate on eBay. You should thing about the fact that that jack plate has to hold the engine that probably cost 1/3 the entire boats price. Needless to say that if that things brakes while you are moving at a significant speed it may be catastrophic and you can very well be hurt. There are reputable jack plate manufactures out there that wont break the bank like R&R Design and their slidemaster jack plates. Dont skimp on something so important.Originally Posted by Phunahm
