    Prettiest lake you ever fished

Fished a lot of lakes and seen some beauties. We have some great mountain lakes here in California. But when it comes to shear beauty I would have to say Lake Powell is number one on my list. Hard to beat the Grand Canyon half full of water.

Probably Walloon lake in Northern Michigan or maybe Gogebic in the UP....For Bass..
Come to think of it the prettiest places I have fished have been Mountain lakes out west for trout..

Agree with Shasta. Second on my list. Never been to Bullard’s Bar but it’s on my list.

Lake Tahoe.. I was there for a work conference. We had one free day and drove around the entire lake. Beautiful

Minnetonka... Oh wait, that's a different kind of scenery.

I didn't get to fish it but when we did the test ride in my Bass Cat when buying it last fall, we rode around on Greer's Ferry, and that was beautiful. I would like to spend some time fishing those Ozark lakes at some point. We have a lot of beautiful natural lakes and rivers up here in Minnesota, blessed with a lot of beautiful scenery. Rainy, Kab, Vermilion, the entirety of the Boundary Waters, they are all places that should be on everyone's bucket list.

I haven’t been to a ton of places and I am very fortunate to have Dale Hollow an hour from me. It’s beautiful and one of my favorite places to be. Going to be there all day tomorrow.

The water at Bullard's Bar is sometimes a unique clear turquoise color, very beautiful at high water levels with trees flooded.
As you mentioned, Powell is very dramatic, Shasta at full capacity is awesome.

Heck, now days any lake at more than half full is a sight to see !

Lake Mead is my favorite, with more water in it than now. The super clear water on the main lake that you can see house size boulders in 50ft. of water to the muddy stained water up the Colo. river with its canyon walls and beautiful rock formations.

For bass, hands down Raquette Lake or saranac lake.

For general fishing probably Squaw lake. Takes 1hr on a dirt mountain road, followed by a 1mile walk in carrying a canoe to fish.

Lived in the eastern Sierra Mountains in CA and the backcountry lakes were pristine and beautiful.

lucky to say that we have a family house on it, Georgian Bay without a doubt.

I wouldnt call it "pretty" but I would call it very very neat, lake Marion is maybe the "coolest" lake ive fished, there's nothing like fishing in a legitimate forest with gators and snakes in the middle of a big lake.

Little untouched lakes in the Boundary Waters notwithstanding, the Canadian side of Lake of the Woods and Lake Vermilion are probably top 2. I'll be on Rainy this August, so we'll see what that's about though I'm positive it's gorgeous! Lake Owen in northern WI is up there as well!

For me Greers Ferry by far. And I love the looks of Lake Winona here in Arkansas too even though I never put my stuff through the hell you have to go through to get to it. Fished it plenty out of my friend's boat though.
