Bullards is beautiful, but i disqualify it in my list because I drove all the way down from WA to catch a handful of dinks there lol.

While I’m not a trout guy, Diablo lake in the northern cascades here is hard to beat.

I wouldn't call them pretty lakes but I've seen some beautiful sunrises and sunsets while on Wilson and Pickwick lakes.

Numerous mountain lakes in Colorado. Size is usually lacking, but man, what views. It’s the only place that when fishing, catching is secondary!

I think they are beautiful. Maybe would be better if not for all the cabins or houses. Probably was very beautiful around 1935! I live on a place that was a cattle farm prior to flooding.

Come to think of it the prettiest places I have fished have been Mountain lakes out west for trout..
Walloon lake was the first one that popped in my head as well!

Heading up there next week can’t wait.

I would have to say Quetico Provincial Park.
We spent 7 days on canoe trip a few years back and it is
some of the most pristine lakes and rivers I have ever seen.
The fishing was unbelievable catching 50-60 smallmouth a day
then chasing a few walleye for dinner.
