    It's finally happening

This may not be the best time to do this but wheels were set in motion nearly a year ago. On Feb 29, 2004 I retired from the USAF after 22 years and 5 months. Now after 17 years and 8 months working for both the Air Force and the Army as a civilian employee, I'm headed out the door into the land of retirement. Together that's 40 years and 3 months working in Military Law Enforcement. The initial hope was to spend more time on the water, but with the gas prices and economy as a whole, I doubt I'll be able to get in as much fishing as originally planned, but I'll still get out as often as possible. Cheers to all...................

    First, thanks for your service.

Secondly, enjoy your retirement as you have obviously earned it.

Congrats and thank you for your service. Hey, sitting next to a pond with a floater and worm is still better than work, if you can’t hook up the boat due to high gas prices

thank you for the service, and I am sure you will find a way to get out on the water and fish, look at it like this, you may not go quite as much, but when you go, it will make you appreciate it all the more!

Thank You for a career of service!
The fuel prices may put a dent in my fishing plans but not to the point where I stay home.

Congrats on retirement and tight lines!
