Until the mid 1900's, my life was completely different than the man Christ has created out of the mess He had to work with. Many people that are still alive today who knew me yrs past, they are taken aback by the transformation.
You are correct that some parts of the OT are concurrent, but Christ changed everything. He is the price paid in full for my sins, your sins, and the sins of the world for all times, therefore, when Christ declared that it was finished, He meant that payment had been made in full; hence, there is NO MORE NEED for sacrifice.
'And making a gathering, he sent twelve thousand drachms of silver to Jerusalem for sacrifice to be offered for the sins of the dead-.'

What about Apostolic Tradition? From my understanding Protestants don't believe in this.

Want to point out one thing here....for the past 2 or 3 years I have dealt with a site where there are atheists and Protestants. Throw in 1 or 2 catholics and you have a melting pot. I am always on my defense....always. I have come to find that most people are "older" and set in their ways which, sometimes, makes it difficult to discuss religion. Soooooo, if when I post and I appear to be a little short with a poster....its not really my nature but it happens sometimes. Here its somewhat more laid back....not as aggressive in nature.

Totally understand, my friend. Same here. Text is very hard to determine emotion. I try to be short and concise, but it isn't meant to be hateful. Just like to save time and eliminate misunderstanding :)

I find your post to be....interesting for sure. Without doing any research on what you posted it does interest me. Why? I was born on Oct 6th.

Your last comment....Your ARE the Church. Totally agree with that statement. The Catholic Church, in its foundation, are the PEOPLE who are practicing Catholics. You notice I said "practicing"....

15% of the worlds population is Catholic. Don't believe that includes Eastern Orthodox. Almost 1 billion Catholics (989 million in 2005). Many people are under the impression that the Pope is the Catholic Church. Some of the hierarchy in the Church makes up the Catholic Church. Nothing could be further from the truth. My personal take on our current Pope????????? He is a socialist from a communist country. Respect him for the "office" he holds but as a man he lacks the characteristics to be an effective Pope.

It has been prophesied that Satan would infiltrate the Catholic Church. He has done that at various levels. This includes priests, bishops, cardinals and quit possibly the Pope. Just as he has infiltrated our political system and our society. Isn't it obvious?

I heard someone saying that the date is 07 07 2023 or at the latest 07 25 2023.
It makes ponder how many more dates like this and other that have gone by the way side over the yrs there will be, especially since Christ was clear on the matter with several passages in the NT.

Absolutely we are! The last days started right after the minute Jesus died on the cross (if you want to get technical about it) . Just from what mankind has turned himself into there ultimately be a chastisement.

I know He is merciful but our world is becoming increasingly corrupt. Perhaps for the sake of the faithful remnant sharing the Good News He is withholding His final judgement. Not a statement just a guess.

You have to believe God is very patient and giving everyone a chance to turn to Him. He's letting everyone see just how corrupt man's heart is and how they need salvation.
