As title suggests I’m adding a Lowrance active imaging transducer to transom. Already have bird there and I have room beside it for Lowrance. Will it cause problems if they are mounted side by side? Interference?
As title suggests I’m adding a Lowrance active imaging transducer to transom. Already have bird there and I have room beside it for Lowrance. Will it cause problems if they are mounted side by side? Interference?
Other than the units will cross-talk if both are using the same frequency/s, it depends on what transducer the Humminbird has if the Humminbird's sonar pulses will be physically blocked by the other transducer.
I guess Active Imaging does Side Scan, so that would be blocked on one side by the Humminbird transducer.
