Coming from Virginia and have never been up there. Will be staying in St Lawrence county. We will turkey hunt in the mornings and then fish until dark. I know nothing at all about anything up there. Want to catch some sm. I have never caught one. Any help would be great. Fishing in a 519 Ranger.
St lawrence is a no no not even catch and release they do patrol heavy until open of bass which is Think 3rd saturday of June
1000 islands and Lake Ontario north of Sand Pond is off limits for bass fishing until June 15. Just for reference, targeting bass outside the season is illegal in Jefferson, St Lawrence, Franklin, Essex, and Hamilton counties. So of those choices, you will have to head to Champlain to fish for bass.
