What trailer model and year do you have? What kind of driving do you do? There are many, many variables. Among the tandem trailers I’ve had in the last 10-12 years, which were new or fairly new, at 20k the tires still had a lot of wear and were holding up well. I average 6-7k per year on the trailer and around 120 miles per trip, with a 50/50 mix of 2-lane and limited access roads.

I generally hit a years limit before a mileage limit on my trailer tires. I replace at 5 years. They still look good and have decent tread at that time. I would guess that they have roughly 15K miles on them at that point. They might have more life in them, but I'm comfortable replacing them at the 5 year mark. I also have a single axle trailer, so no margin for a blowout. I have a tire pressure monitoring system and always pay close attention to tire pressure.
