    I have never not had a dog more than six months since I was born. I have been through this several times and it doesn’t get easier.
    I read something that really hit a never. Remember if you have a bad day it’s just a day but if your dog has a bad day it’s a week to them.
    I always think of that when my mischievous Havanese tears up a roll of toilet paper. I don’t get on him very hard as I realize that is life is short compared to mine. I am sorry for your loss and after a time of grieving I hope you find another buddy. It seems that you gave the buddy you lost a great life. A new will never replace the one you loss but he will find a place in your heart with his unique personality.

    My Baby Lucy sleeps on my lap as we read about the loss of your friend. She helps make my life peaceful, she always is glad to see me, always wants to go along with me. I don't want this to be about me, but want you to know how much I value my dog, and feel your pain in your loss.

    These are always the hardest posts to read. My Catahoula is showing the hard signs of age now and I know it won't be long. There comes a time when tough decisions have to be made, and it's never easy letting go. I'm very sorry for your loss.
